The Faces of ShortPoint
Meet Samantha, Our Renewals Account Manager
Fostering a healthy relationship between ShortPoint and its customers is a core focus of every employee. Much more so for the person who regularly connects with customers and works towards renewing their subscription. This month, let us discover more about Samantha Kelly, our Sales Coordinator, and Renewals Account Manager.
Samantha works closely with clients to ensure a successful license renewal. With a global client base, she believes that a commitment to providing customers with a seamless experience is key. She applies flexibility and creativity in managing renewals and learns about each client’s processes to guide them through them. On top of that, she also handles order management and bridges the gap between the sales team and the finance department. If you have a ShortPoint license, then you have most definitely connected with her.
What Samantha loves most about working at ShortPoint is the team. She appreciates that ideas are encouraged, contributions are valued, and support is always offered and available. “We have clear goals and focus, but we never lose sight of the people behind the work,” she states. “The kindness and grace we offer each other is what truly sets ShortPoint apart.
”You will most likely find Samantha spending time with her favorite humans, her husband Rob, and their three kids, Ryan, Rylee, and Braden, when she is off work. She also adores playing around with her three dogs, Biggs, Apollo, and Finneas.
She is a fierce advocate of rescuing and adopting dogs. She also loves to read and finds time to attend live concerts and theatre when she can.
When it comes to traveling, she typically has her next adventure with her family already planned even before they return home from their current trip. Talk about being one step ahead! She loves to visit new places and get out of her comfort zone. She frequents mountain destinations.
She has hiked the El Yunque Rainforest and explored glaciers by helicopter and on foot. But, she is more of a beach lover at heart. She is up for any adventure as long as it does not involve jumping off anything too high. So the next time you speak with Samantha, remember to ask her about her latest adventures.
See you in March
More exciting news is planned for February. Stay tuned! And if you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, please send us a note. We love to hear from you.
See you next month, ShortPoint hero!

Tech Tip: Highlighting Social Media on Your Intranets
The impact of social media in our lives is significant. There is a lot of information relayed and shared through its various platforms building awareness, starting conversations, and so much more. This is also why organizations worldwide have made large efforts to build their social media presence in some form or another.
You can bring the power of these communication channels internally by integrating social media into your intranets. This way, your employees are always up to date with what is happening inside and outside the organization. ShortPoint has an
Intranet Social Kit containing Design Elements you can use specifically for this purpose.
We did not forget about internal social media content that is equally important to promote. We also have the Yammer Design Element that is dedicated to bringing conversations to your SharePoint page.
Check out the links to individual content about the social media Design Elements to start taking full advantage of your organization’s social media branding and marketing efforts.
If you have any questions or feedback, please connect with us by submitting a ticket at support.shortpoint.com. We look forward to providing you with a new useful Tech Tip next month!
